At Taylor Lake we get great views of the larch on the forested slopes of Panorama Ridge. The trail climbs a short distance to Panorama Meadows. \nDistance: 15k\nElevation gain : 640 m. \nDirections: take the Trans Canada 8 k past Castle Junction to the Taylor Lake parking lot\nMeeting point: the trailhead \nEvent Pace: steady though we stop for photos. \nREQUIRED: (Gear & Supplies)\n· backpack\n· hiking boots\n. bear spray\n· snacks/lunch\n. water (2l)\n· appropriate clothing\n. warm layers\n. sunscreen\n. bug spray\n. bathroom kit\n. personal first aid kit/medications\n. sense of humor \nSUGGESTED: (Gear & Supplies)\n· hiking poles\n. lightweight pad to sit on\n. sunglasses/hat\n. sense of adventure \nRESTRICTIONS: No dogs\, no children\, no guests \nPlease be considerate of your driver’s car and bring a change of shoes and plastic bag for dirty footwear.
