Sound signaling device\n2. Bailing Device or manual bilge pump\n3. 15m (50 feet) of buoyant heaving line\n4. A waterproof white light *(in low light or low visibility conditions)\n5. One re-boarding device \n***IMPORTANT***\nFor your safety and safety of others in the group. PFD’s MUST BE WORN AND BE PROPERLY SECURED AT ALL TIMES WHILE ON THE WATER WHEN PADDLING WITH THE GROUP . Participants that do not abide will be turned away and reported to Andy Dragt\nRENTAL GEAR: All requirements apply to you even if you are just renting or borrowing a craft\, regardless of its size. The responsibility for possessing required equipment is shared equally by the lessor and lessee. Sometimes they have an inspection station set up at the lake and check boats before you launch.\nALBERTA Parks & Environment\nWhen highway signage indicates that a watercraft inspection station is open\, it is mandatory that all carriers of water-based vessels must report to the onsite inspectors to have their boats\, trailers and other water-related equipment checked for invasive species such as the zebra and quagga mussels. It’s the law.\nBypassing an open inspection station while carrying a water-based vessel is in violation of the Fisheries Act and can result in fines to individuals of up to $100\,000 or 12 months in prison\, in addition to creative sentencing orders that may be issued to convicted persons at the discretion of the courts.

DESCRIPTION:Slow and Steady Hikers\n6 days of paddle and camp on Murtle Lake in Wells Grey Park. I have canoes rented for 6 people ( 3 Canoes ) 2 people per canoe\, no need to take own own. We will camp the night before at Blue River. On July 20 we drive up the the Murtle lake ( 30 minutes ) parking lot and load our gear into carts and portage to the lake 2.5 Kms easy trail. we have to be at the lake by around 10:00.\nThere are no roads to the lake\, no cabins\, no power boats\, This is the largest paddle only lake in North America\, Rentals include paddles\, life jackets Ext. There are 17 camp grounds along the lake. Whits sand beaches and out houses at each site. this is a paddle and camp for 5 nights and 6 days\, we return by 11:00 on the last day. any questions call 778-479-9033The cost is aprox $220.
