Taylor Lake and the meadows

Slow and Steady Hikers
The trail is up through the forest and is all about the destination, rather than the journey. At Taylor Lake we get great views of the larch on the forested slopes of Panorama Ridge. The trail climbs a short distance to Panorama Meadows.

Distance: 15k
Elevation gain : 640 m.

Directions: take the Trans Canada 8 k past Castle Junction to the Taylor Lake parking lot
Meeting point: the trailhead

Event Pace: steady though we stop for photos.

Please be considerate of your driver’s car and bring a change of shoes and plastic bag for dirty footwear. Suggested gas fee contribution is $25.
