Slow and Steady Hikers

* If you drop out past RSVP close time without a good reason you will be marked as a NO SHOW. IF YOU ARE DOUBLE-BOOKED YOU WILL BE MOVED TO NON-GOING LIST.
**PLEASE READ:**
**If you decide to sign up make sure you CAN be at the trailhead (Lake Louise SHORE!!!) not later than 8:15. I only could reserve 4 tickets for a shuttle bus and they are all taken. You have to make your own plans how to get there (LL shore) if you would like to join the group.**
**Parking/Access:**
**Parking fills up before 8:00 AM; alternate access via regional transit like [Roam Transit](https://roamtransit.com/schedules-routes/summer-banff-lklouise-regional-route-eight-8x-express/) or Parks Canada shuttles. There is last minute reservation possible 48h before the day. Good luck.**
Please do NOT sign up if you can’t stay with the group!!!!!
Location: Lake Louise (Lake shore)
Distance: ~14 km out and back
Difficulty: Moderate to challenging
Elevation: ~970m (gain elevation)
Time: As long as we need
Pace: as per slowest hiker
No dogs, No children
NO SPEEDY GONZALES!
NO TURTLES!
Time: This is all day event!
It is a requirement to read the following trip posting carefully and to make the proper and responsible preparations for it. Failure to do so, will result in participant not allowed on this trip.

Gear:
• Good Hiking boots are required
• Wind/water resistant jacket, gloves, toque, hat, layers .. Be prepared
• Hiking poles if desired
• Gaiters
• Water – Lots of it/lunch/snacks
• BEAR spray – Mandatory!!!!!
