Slow and Steady Hikers
If you drop out past RSVP close time without a good reason you will be marked as a NO SHOW. IF YOU ARE DOUBLE-BOOKED YOU WILL BE MOVED TO NON-GOING LIST. THIS TRIP WILL BE WEATHER DEPENDENT.

EARLY START AS IT IS A LONG DAY AND A VERY BUSY SITUATION WITH THE PARKING . NO COMPLAINS!

This is an incredible hike and provides truly fantastic views of Lake Louise.
MARKED AS OUTSTANDING IN “DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME IN THE CANADIAN ROCKIES”.

Elevation Gain: +/- 800-1000 m
Distance: +/- 14-16 KM
Time: 8–9 hours + driving time.

WHO CAN ATTEND: no guests, no dogs, no kids, NO SPEED DEMONS
Suggested Gas Fee contribution: $30.00 per person exact change.

Pace – SLOW!!. Level: intermediate
We will be moving with a pace of THE SLOWEST HIKER.
You must stay with the group for the duration of the hike.
IF YOU ARE NOT WILLING TO HIKE WITH A GROUP PLEASE DO NOT SIGN UP .Pace: RELAXED PACE, meaning Slower while ascending, moderate while descending otherwise yet taking time to embrace the views. If you are a speed demon please sign up for another hike. Absolutely NO RUNNING AHEAD OF THE GROUP. If you run ahead and push the group, we will not hike again in the future.

Group size: 12 maximum
Required Gear: Hiking boots, poles, dress in layers and be prepared for rain, snow, wind or any drastic weather change. Bring lunch, at least 2 L of water, carpool money, personal first air kit.
Suggested: good attitude, camera
Who can attend: No dogs. No children. No Smokers. Members only.
Safety and navigation as warranted:

WAIVER: You must sign our club waiver before you are allowed to go on this trip and you shall arrive prepared with an emergency name and phone number to be recorded on the waiver.
