Galatea lakes
Slow and Steady Hikers
The Galatea Lakes hike is a moderately tough hike with many scenic views. The dirt trail is forested up to Lillian Lake. The next section up to the Lower Galatea Lakes is steep, with some loose rocks. The trail drops down to the end of the lake, and then climbs to the upper lake.

**Meeting point: From hwy 1 take hwy 40 to the galatea parking lot**
**RSVP RULES**: Late cancellations without a valid reason, will result in a ‘no show’ at the organizer’s discretion. Note that ‘no shows’ can hinder your attendance on hikes with other organizers.
**PACE**: steady though we stop to take photos and enjoy the day.

**CARPOOLING**: Carpooling will not be arranged for this hike, please use the comment section to request a ride. Please bring a change of shoes and plastic bag for dirty footwear. Suggested gas fee contribution is $20.00.
